We are pleased to announce the beginning of our
Apprentice Training program. The is program will
allow Cheeseman and Zumstein to recruit drivers
with 6 months of recent experience. The implementation
of the program involved selection and training
of instructors from our existing driver base.
Instructors successfully completed a three day
course at the Apollo Career center in Lima Ohio,
in cab instruction of the Smith-Systems course,
new entrant training and new hire orientation.
Congratulations to Chris Duhamel, Eric Francis,
Dan Gullickson, Gary Vantine, Bill Needham and
Todd Wills our certified instructors! Drivers
hired under the Apprentice Program will be required
to complete 240 hours of classroom and in-cab
instruction before being released to solo driving.
We also announcing a new additions
to our Management Team. Richard Massengill has
joined us as Director of Maintenance. Richard
comes to us with a vast amount knowledge and skill
in all areas of fleet maintenance management.
He will manage all aspects of our fleet maintenance.
He will divide his time between Fort Recovery
and Lewisburg. Richard and his family will be
moving to Greenville Ohio . Welcome aboard Richard!
